Families used to sit down every month with a budget. This much for rent, this much for groceries, this much for school. They kept track of every rupee, and they knew why each one was spent. And it worked: they saved, steadily, year after year.

போகாறு அகலாக் கடை“Though the income be small, there is no harm, so long as the spending is not greater.”
That habit taught me that savings don't come from what you earn. They come from how you spend.
Today I see most people do it the other way round: spend first, and save whatever is left. Most months, not much is. Sanchay is built to reverse that: set the budget first, let the month run, track every expense, and keep what you save.
“Do not save what is left after spending; spend what is left after saving.”
I went looking for an app that worked this way, and kept finding the same two choices. Either connect your bank account and let a company keep your financial life on its servers, or type in every expense by hand until you give up. Neither felt right. So I built the app I couldn't find: one that does the tracking for you and keeps everything on your phone. Sanchay is my way of passing on that habit to anyone who wants to spend with intent and save with confidence.
Free, and yours
Sanchay is free. No ads, no premium plan, no subscriptions.
Your data stays yours. There's no account to create and no bank to link, and your financial data never leaves your phone. Even the intelligent features run on the device: on iPhone, Apple Intelligence reads the bank messages the built-in rules can't, and on both iPhone and Android, Ask answers questions about your spending with the phone's own AI (Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano), with no cloud AI service in between.
iPhone and Android protect your messages in different ways, so Sanchay works with each. On iPhone, an iOS Shortcuts automation that you set up hands each bank SMS to Sanchay. On Android, Sanchay reads the notifications from Google Messages or Samsung Messages and from UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, CRED and BHIM, right on the phone. How it works →
If Sanchay helps you save, I'd be grateful if you shared it with someone who could use it, and left a rating on the App Store or Google Play. Thank you for being here.
